Suzhou Institute of Nano-tech and Nano-bionics (SINANO) is jointly founded by Chinese Academy of Science (CAS), the Government of Jiangsu Province, the Government of Suzhou City, and Suzhou Industrial Park Administrative Committee. SINANO is located in Dushu Lake Higher Education Town with elegant and scenic environments, within the Sino-Singapore Suzhou Industrial Park. As one of newly established national institutes, our goal is to build SINANO an internationally renowned institute in 15 years.

The Nanosafety Division at SINANO seeks applications for three Principal Investigator/Professor positions, which are available immediately. The expected research areas include: (1) biological and environmental effects and safety of nanomaterials; (2) development of nanotechnology for rapid detection of chemical/biological hazards (for example, chemical pollutants, explosives, virus, and bacteria) and radiation; (3) development of nanotechnology for information safety. SINANO offers a unique and excellent environment for research at the interface of nanotechnology, chemistry, biology, and other fields. Candidates may be eligible to the 100 Talent program from the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Competitive salary will be commensurate with experiences and qualifications. The successful applicants should work full time in the Institute.

Candidates should have a Ph.D degree, postdoctoral training experiences, and a good track record of scientific accomplishments.
